Thyroid Health

Natural support for hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and thyroid conditions your doctor says are ‘normal’

The thyroid is a small gland with an enormous impact on how you feel every day. It regulates metabolism, energy, body temperature, mood, weight, digestion, and more. When thyroid function is off, even subtly, the effects ripple through nearly every system in the body.

We see patients with both hypothyroidism (underactive) and hyperthyroidism (overactive), as well as patients with autoimmune thyroid conditions like Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. We also see a large number of patients who have been told their thyroid labs are normal, but who feel anything but. This is one of the most common and most frustrating experiences we encounter in our office, and it is one we are well-equipped to address.

Many of our thyroid patients are already on thyroid medication, but feel that it is not being managed well. They are symptomatic, still struggling, and not getting the answers they need about why. We work alongside their existing care to look at the broader picture: nutrition, gut health, immune function, liver detoxification, and the specific nutrient cofactors the thyroid needs to function optimally.

Common Symptoms

  • Persistent fatigue and sluggishness despite adequate sleep
  • Unexplained weight gain or difficulty losing weight
  • Cold sensitivity, always feeling cold when others are comfortable
  • Hair thinning or loss, dry skin, brittle nails
  • Brain fog, memory issues, or difficulty concentrating
  • Depression or low mood
  • Constipation or slowed digestion
  • Racing heart, anxiety, or heat sensitivity (hyperthyroid)
  • Thyroid labs that fall within ‘normal’ ranges, but you still feel unwell

How we approach it

Our comprehensive functional lab panel reads thyroid markers through a functional lens rather than simply checking whether numbers fall within the broad conventional ranges. We look at TSH, T3 Uptake, T3, T4, Reverse T3, and thyroid antibodies. These markers that are frequently overlooked in standard thyroid testing, and interpret them against optimal functional ranges rather than the wide conventional bands that can miss significant dysfunction. We combine this with Nutrition Response Testing to assess what the thyroid and its supporting systems need most, and build a personalized nutrition and supplementation plan around those findings.

Is this program right for you?

Whether you are newly exploring thyroid concerns, have been told your labs are normal but still feel unwell, or already on thyroid medication and looking for better support, this program is built around finding and addressing the root cause rather than just monitoring a number.

Join the patients who look forward to Thursdays

Every week, our practitioners send out a short, practical email covering what we are seeing in the office, what is working for our patients, and straightforward information about how to maintain and improve your health. No fluff. No selling. Just the kind of useful, honest health information our patients tell us they look forward to every week.
